Yummy lunch! We had meatball sliders and pizzas. The cheese was thick, the crust thin and crisp, the sauce homemade and toppings delicious!!! The family "uses the Sicilian Grandpa's recipes," I was told.

Why did I take so long to make this post!? Our family loves to try new restaurants and we do our best to visit small, family owned restaurants as soon as their doors open. We have now visited Tony's six or seven times and the family has always been pleased. Anytime we can find a restaurant which is a crowd pleaser it's an awesome gift. Our youngest son loves the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, our daughter always gets the Lasagna, the oldest son eats EVERYTHING and tries something new each visit. His favorite so far are the sub sandwiches. My husband appreciates the opportunity to enjoy an adult beverage with his meal and I love the Alfredo Ravioli. Appetizers are great especially the artichoke and olive antipasto. The desserts are my favorite part of the meal and Tony's delivers. The coconut cake made my week! Great staff can make all the difference. On our last visit we pulled up ten minutes before closing time. When we saw the time we started to back out and leave to avoid being "those people." The man at the counter came outside in the rain to wave us back in. He invited us inside and made us feel very welcomed. It was a gesture of warm friendliness and we appreciated it immensely. Great local spot for yummy, bready goodness! Whether you prefer your bread in the form of a stick, bun, pasta or pizza crust! There's something for every taste bud... meatballs, buffalo chicken, Philly cheese steak, and much more. I liked the meatball sliders. The Buffalo chicken grinder was also yum. LOVED the caramel apple cheesecake I ordered to go!

On our everlasting search for new restaurants, we found ourselves at Tony's. We were NOT disappointed. From the artichoke & olive antipasto to the bread and salad, everything was wonderful. I had the lobster and shrimp ravioli and my husband had spaghetti with sausage. There was nothing that we would have changed. Even the cannoli was a treat. We'll be back for sure. I can't believe that we didn't know this place was here.

Love the food. So far I've tried the pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and the meatball sandwich. The house salad dressing is also fantastic. Even my insanely picky husband loves it. Dessert selection is faboo and tasty, too. We've had fantastic service at every visit. Hope they're in Blue Springs to stay.

This is a great hole in the wall! I've always gone to warrensburg for the originals Tony's. It's awesome to have the family nearby. I always order a turkey and capacolli on wheat with everything. It's s big sandwich and there are plenty of leftovers. Best sandwich I've ever had. The staff really cares and it's great for families. The house dressing is the best

We just tried Tony's in Blue Springs after reading some of the reviews on this site. Our hopes were high as we were greeted in a very friendly manner and seated right away. The young lady took our drink order and promptly came back to take our food order. We ordered spaghetti with meat balls that came with salad and toast. Can't get any simpler than this. Our salads came quickly and we were slightly disappointed that it was bitter iceberg lettuce with Italian dressing. OK, but there was no Parmesan cheese on the table to spice it up. We finished our salads and she took away the bowls. Food was coming out of the kitchen but not to our table. The server walked by many times without making eye contact. Forty minutes later, we caught her attention and asked when our food might be arriving. She seemed startled by this question and went to the kitchen. She returned with the news that our ticket got "lost" and our order would be coming soon. Our pasta and meatballs came out swimming in a watery sauce. The toast was just that - no garlic butter - just toast. We ate it because we were VERY hungry, but neither one of us will return to Tony's. Too bad because we really enjoy good Italian food. P.S. We have to wonder if it's just OUR bad luck or are we left to question the authenticity of the rave reviews posted here.

Atmosphere leaves a little to be desired and first impressions before eating were low based on that. But ! Alas ! Salad was tasty, house dressing was quite nice and lobster ravioli was like that of a fancy restaurant. Never expected such good food, son loved meatball sandwich.

Terrible food Terrible service. After being seated waitress did not even acknowledge that we were there for 15 minutes. We spent 43.00 for scorched chicken penne, nasty beef ravioli, and terrible spaghetti and meatballs. Never again.

Have been to this great place a couple times now! The staff is GREAT and very nice. Have never had any problems and the food was AMAZING and in most cases VERY large portions! Salads are great too but I am especially excited that they have a GLUTEN FREE Menu with many choices. Also, if you have something you want made they are willing to try and make it for you! GREAT Place and am excited to see places in SOUTH Blue Springs instead of all out at Adams Dairy.. I promote the mom and Pops!! Highly Recommend this!!
